Director in premier's office charged with assault

A director in premier Oscar Mabuyane’s office and prominent ANC member is being investigated for allegedly assaulting the daughter of prominent businessman and former PSL referee Ace Ncobo in Beacon Bay on Sunday. Luntu Sokutu, who is also the parliamentary liaison officer at Mabuyane’s office, was placed on leave by the premier following the allegation.
