Giant of the sea graces East London’s esplanade

Forget Moby Dick, visitors to East London’s beachfront can now imagine themselves as the fictional Captain Ahab, thanks to the city’s latest esplanade installation. Tourists and residents will soon be having a whale of a time, enjoying features such as the new outdoor gym equipment and a life-size sculpture of Megaptera Novaeangliae.
