Five killed in horror Eastern Cape crash

Five people died in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the N2 between Peddie and Makhanda on Friday afternoon. “The crash occurred just outside Peddie towards Makhanda,” said the provincial transport department. “A VW Polo with five occupants, four women and one man, from Makhanda direction collided with an Iveco minibus from KwaBhaca with 23 occupants.
