SA Defence Force’s Hammer Unit was involved in Highgate shooting, private investigator tells court

Emotions ran high in the Special Tribunal court on Thursday when a private investigator gave evidence alleging the old SA Defence Force’s Hammer Unit was involved in the brazen gunfire attack on the Highgate Hotel in 1993. Frans Molokomme testified that he and a colleague, the late Daryl Els, had met a man who identified himself as Wayne Grobler in 2009 in East London.
