Snakes, bees, pit toilets just some of challenges faced by Vanani Primary pupils

Almost hidden among farms on the East Coast road near Meises Halt just outside Gonubie, pupils and teachers of the dilapidated Vanani Primary School say they have been forgotten by the government. But government officials say their hands are tied when it comes to repairing it, because although the school is public, it is an old farm school built on private land.
