Clarendon High School for Girls has thrown its support behind St Bernard’s Hospice through its annual Copper Drive and donation initiative.
The school wrapped up its fundraising campaign last week, with pupils and staff collecting coins over several weeks.
The final amount raised will be confirmed by the Hospice team.
In addition to the Coin Drive, Clarendon’s on-site donation bin — known as the Pink Bin — was also cleared out, having been filled with gently-used goods for St Bernard’s Hospice.
“We’re incredibly proud of our school community,” teacher Bianca Matthis said.
“The generosity shown by our learners, parents, and staff is inspiring.
“Every coin and every donated item helps support the valuable work being done by the Hospice.”
Clarendon has supported St Bernard’s Hospice for several years.
St Bernard’s provides palliative care to patients and families in the region.
The school has encouraged the broader community to continue supporting the cause.
