The ANC faces a crisis according to party MP and small business development minister Stella Ndabeni.

She was addressing hundreds of mourners at the funeral of former uMkhonto we Sizwe operative ,tactics and firearms instructor, base commander -turned entrepreneur and business owner Mfanelo Dan “Ronnie” Matshaya in Mthatha on Saturday.

“The people's trust has been shaken. In the last election we fell to 40% of the vote,” she said.

“We entered into a Government of National Unity with the DA and others. This is not the end,it is a tactical reality. Let us be honest; the ANC must renew or it will perish. Corruption and complacency must be defeated. Renewal must be embraced.”
