Cabbage-raiding cattle were lawfully impounded — judge

Three Committees Drift farmers failed in their high court bid this week to get back 16 cattle that were impounded after trespassing and eating cabbages on irrigated lands. Kholekile Manga, Vusumzi Manga and Thembelani Xhotyeni took police minister Bheki Cele to court to have the seizure and detention of their cattle declared illegal.
